Pierce Building Services Pty Ltd is committed to providing an environment and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health for Employees, Contractors and Customers.

This commitment is based on the following beliefs.

  • Occupational Injuries/Illnesses can and must be prevented.

  • Management has the overall responsibility for ensuring a safe place and system of work.

  • Employees are responsible for working in a safe manner and to follow safety procedures.

  • Management and employees have an obligation to act immediately to correct and prevent Hazardous situations and practice.

Construction Worker

Pierce Building Services will strive to continually improve WH&S procedures through its operations and each manager and supervisor will be accountable for implementing this policy in their area of responsibility via their key performance reviews. These responsibilities will broadly cover the following:

  • Provide and maintain safe plant and systems of work

  • Develop procedures for the safe use, handling storage and transport of plant, materials, products and substances

  • Maintain the work place in a safe and health condition

  • Provide information, training and supervision for all employees to enable them to work Safety Workers will also have responsibilities which include:

    • Following all policies and procedures; and

    • Recognizing hazards which may affect the health and safety of themselves, others, or the environment.
